A few weeks ago the lovely Louise asked if I would contribute to her FB group. As you know I love paper crafting so it was a immediate yes from me! I thought this was the perfect opportunity to have a little play with our February, Daily Stories themed Sweet Treat Box.

As well as photographs I have included step by step instructions on how to create this super cute tag!

1- Cut two tags from decorative paper, then create a hole at the top using a single hole punch.

2 – Create a heart background onto Stix2 extra thick acetate using iridescent paste. Once dry layer the acetate on top of the tag and trim to size. Next punch a hole at the top of the tag using the smaller tag as a guide.

3 – Now fix a journal tag  on the front of the tag at an angle.

4 – Using a sponge and white paint randomly cover the front of the heart aperture (creative kit).

5 – Using a small piece of designer paper, acetate, die cut hearts (creative kit) and foam tape, create a shaker.

6 – Using a black ink pad colour the word family die cut (creative kit) and fix to the bottom right hand corner of the shaker. Trim a length of twine (creative kit) and fix to the top of the shaker using the small wooden pegs (creative kit). Now fix the shaker the tag front.

7 – Cover a large kraft coloured heart die cut randomly in white paint. Once dry fix to the left of the shaker.

8 – Next cover a small kraft heart in black ink. Once dry layer on top of the large heart.

9 – Finally cut a length of twine and thread through the tag hole.

Here’s a little background information about our February Sweet Treat Box.

February is the month of love however this year we decided to create a box about a different type of love. The love of documenting our daily lives. Yes it’s important to document the big things but it’s equally important to document about the little things too! Just think how amazing it will be to look back on your documenting in a few years time. We are after all creating and making history!

Our creative team will be sharing projects using our kits in our creative team gallery as well as on our Instagram page.  Liz and Anna will also be sharing their amazing unboxing videos. Further sneak peeks will also be shared in our FB planner group, please join us and our lovely members.
